Our mission
Happy Hearts Fund rebuilds safe, resilient schools in areas affected by natural disasters. American organisation All Hands and Hearts – Smart Response, co-founded by Petra Nemcova is an exclusive partner of Happy Hearts. After her personal experience with a natural disaster, Petra has decided to help systematically in the affected areas on a long-term basis. Through schools, we bring hope and support to the generations of children and to all communities. To date, we have built 317 schools in 15 countries, serving 116,000 children and having a positive impact on 1,207,000 community members
It all started with one friendship. The difficult moments spent together with Petra Němcová just after the Tsunami in Southeast Asia changed my life forever. My friend was recovering from her body and soul injuries, and it was natural for me to be close to her.
It has been a long time since Petra recovered from her injuries and in 2005 founded the Happy Hearts Fund and became a world-renowned philanthropist.
