Donor trips are a unique experience – for a few days, you’ll become part of a volunteer team working directly on a school construction site.
In small groups, we travel to countries where we provide long-term support – Nepal, Mexico, and the Philippines.

You’ll experience authentic contact with the local culture, meet the children we’re helping together, and contribute directly to building or rebuilding a new, safe school.

Expect a week full of inspiration, meaningful work, and shared joy – in a community of people who want to make the world a better place.

Nepal

We’ve been working in Nepal since 2015, after the country was hit by a devastating earthquake.

Together with All Hands and Hearts, we’ve launched our 31st school project – the reconstruction of Shree Jungha Primary School and Shree Nabajyoti Secondary School in Dudhauli, Sindhuli region.
Safe, resilient classrooms, new sanitation facilities, a playground, and fully renovated school grounds will provide a learning environment for more than 500 children and their teachers.

Mexico

We’ve been working in the state of Puebla, Mexico, since 2017, when the region was struck by two powerful earthquakes.
Today, we offer two types of donor trips in this area:

Parent + Child
Experience an unforgettable journey with your child.
Together, you’ll take part in simple maintenance work at one of our schools, visit a newly built school, and meet the children and families you’re helping.
This trip will show your child that education is not a given everywhere – that many children need our support, and that one person’s help can truly change another’s life.

Adults
Join an international volunteer team and help build a new school. You’ll be united by a shared purpose – helping where it’s truly needed.
Expect a meaningful journey and a powerful experience that will stay with you for life.

The Philippines
November 2026

We’ve been working in the Philippines since 2007, helping to rebuild schools destroyed by typhoons – and constructing them to withstand future disasters.

You’ll spend a week in the heart of tropical nature, alongside an international community united by a shared goal: to make the world a better place.
You’ll help where it’s truly needed – and return home with an experience that can’t be described, only lived.

How to join?

Participation in a donor trip requires a one-time donation of at least €5,000 per person (or adult + child) to the Happy Hearts Czech Foundation. Your contribution will go directly toward building a new school.
 Travel and accommodation costs are covered individually by each participant.
A minimum of 10 confirmed participants is required for the trip to take place.
