The climate crisis is a child rights crisis.
Every year, natural disasters such as floods, storms, and droughts affect up to 175 million children. These events have a disproportionate impact on children – disrupting daily life, education, health, and mental well-being.
The most affected country is the Philippines, which consistently reports the highest number of child displacements caused by extreme weather.
